This is a lovely and collectible Wade Ireland porcelain cruet set with a tray in the shape of a shamrock. There are indentations which safely hold the lidded mustard pot, salt and pepper shakers for carrying to the table. The set has the very distinctive and beautiful Irish glaze with rustic mottled brown/green and blue/grey/green tones. Because of variations in the glaze and firings no two pieces are ever exactly the same. The cruet set is in very good condition with no damage .The salt/pepper pots have stoppers as can be seen from the last photograph. The pots are stamped "Irish Porcelain" and the tray has the full set of Irish marks (see enlargement of last photograph). Dimensions: Salt and Pepper Pots 2.6" (6.6cm) high Mustard Pot 2.25" (5.7cm) high without lid, 3" (7.6cm) high to top of lid finial Tray 5.25" (13.3cm) long to tip of stalk, 5.25" (13.3cm)wide Irish Wade porcelain began in 1946 when it was called Wade Ulster, and changed its name to Wade Ireland in 1971. The factory was closed in 1990, so items like this are now quite rare and sought after,
