This is an 'active' speaker, so it doesn't need a separate receiver/amplifier. You just plug an RCA cable into the inputs, and hook up speaker wire/lamp cord between the speakers (I'll include these).
I don't have the cover plate. Lightly used and near mint condition.

Good mid and higher range sound that fills up small to medium size room. Decent bass for a smaller speaker.
Can use these as PC speakers, or whatever other devices (smartphone, cd, tape deck, ipod etc) you like. You can hook up to two devices.
