Key Responsibilities:
• Take charge of end-to-end accounting activities, ensuring precision and effectiveness in execution.
• Lead the process of company incorporation, business registration, and the establishment of banking relationships.
• Regularly update and reconcile banking transactions to maintain accurate financial records.
• Oversee payroll processing, adhering to legal and regulatory standards.
• Manage and file HST, WSIB, EHT, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, contributing to tax return preparations.
• Conduct detailed inventory assessments and cost analysis to support strategic financial planning.
• Liaise with senior accounting personnel to enhance accounting procedures and practices.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with both clients and team members to facilitate smooth operations.
• Efficiently manage tasks and projects, ensuring timely completion while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
• A bachelor's degree in accounting or a higher-level degree in a related field.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Solid understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• A quick learner, eager to embrace new technologies and methodologies.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Profile, Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous experience in accounting is advantageous.
• Outstanding ability to organize, prioritize, and work under pressure.
