Job Title: Cook
Nature of Employment: Permanent Full-Time Position
Salary: $ 17.00/ hour for 37.5 to 44 hours/week. Overtime pay at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay after 44 hours. May be required to work some weekends
Job duties:
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
• Oversee kitchen operations
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
• May clean kitchen and work area
• May plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• May hire and train kitchen staff.
Language: English
Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
