General
The self-employed person will live in and provide general housekeeping and personal care for an 84-year-old veteran and his wife who are both in fair health and do not require constant attention. They plan to age in place. The person will provide their own vehicle and reside in a suite in the client's home in a pleasant neighbourhood in Stittsville.

Primary Responsibilities
• Do general housekeeping as directed by the clients.
• Assist with shopping and prepare meals.
• Drive clients to appointments and shopping as needed.
• Provide personal care such as bathing as requested.

Accommodation
• Spacious three room furnished suite with 3-piece bath and kitchenette.
• Large screen TV with Bell Satellite and Netflix service
• Off-street parking for vehicle
• Person to provide their own internet and phone services.
• No pets.

Qualifications
• Experienced, housekeeper, PSW or similar qualifications
• Experienced cook.
• Bondable, including a police force check for insurance purposes.
• Hold a valid Ontario driver's license with Clean Driver Abstract.
• Proof of Covid-19 and Flu vaccinations.
• Preferably having a Vulnerable Sector Background Check.
• Able to communicate in English, non-smoker.
• References to be provided.
• Cheerful, outgoing person who enjoys helping others.

Compensation and Benefits
• Sign a contract for services.
• Payment at least $3000/month depending on qualifications and experience.
• One day a week off as agreed with clients.
• Plenty of free time.
• Two weeks of unpaid vacation as agreed with clients.
