Many studies have shown that learning music in youth can improve academic performance and cognitive development. How does it benefit adults though? In a study at the University of South Florida, adults aged between 60 and 85 were given piano lessons. Six months later, they exhibited improved memory, verbal fluency, information processing skills, and other cognitive functions!

For the last 10 years I have had the pleasure of helping hundreds of students aged 5-65 learn to play and understand music through the piano, guitar, and bass guitar. I have performed in numerous venues around Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge, rural Alberta, and even Shanghai. As a composer, I have worked with International companies like Perrier, Nike, and Hennessy, and my band currently has our songs being played regularly on various national and local radio stations.

Thanks to my unique approach to music teaching, I have been contracted by 2 private schools to provide teaching expertise as well as several professional music studios like Long and Mcquade, School of Rock, and Time Music Studios.
